Businesses around Pottsville are once again participating in the annual Pottsville Elf Hunt.
Pottsville Elf Hunt starts on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30, and runs through Dec. 7. The goal of the Elf Hunt is to get shoppers into numerous small businesses around the city.
This year, 28 businesses are participating in the Elf Hunt scavenger hunt. To participate, visit all the businesses involved with the Pottsville Elf Hunt and look for the hidden elf in each. The elves will either be in a window display or inside the shops.
There is a printable form at the Pottsville Business Association Facebook page, at the Pottsville Free Public Library, and at participating businesses. Just fill that out and be eligible for prizes for finding all the elves hidden around the city. Shoppers are encouraged to snap photos and share them on social media, too.
PBA President Joseph Drasdis III says, “This is a great way to get people out into our community and to showcase our local businesses. Not only does the Elf Hunt bring people together during the holiday season, but it also highlights our local shops and strengthens the sense of community spirit.”
