Warrants have been issued for two New Yorkers charged with retail theft at a Schuylkill County CVS back in 2023.
Police have identified the suspects as Michael Ruizruiz and Amy Sarmiento with stealing more than $1,600 worth of cosmetics from the CVS in North Manheim Township, near Cressona and Schuylkill Haven back on Oct. 12.
Ruizruiz and Sarmiento are both from Ridgewood, NY.
Police say they fled the CVS that day in a white Dodge Durango. Both are now facing felony retail theft charges. Warrants for their arrest were signed by District Magistrate Judge AJ Serina on Wednesday.
